Platypus Shoes -My sneaker Story

It had been a rollercoaster of a week, that came with the Highest High’s  but also the Lowest- botton-of-the-barrel-scraping- Lows… and quite literally.  It seems my penchant for stomping around in heels all day, everyday had finally got the better of my clumsy bambi legs, and I’d managed to fall over 3 times in 3 days consecutively.  And so, with some very beat up knees and a wildly bruised ego,  PLATYPUS SHOES‘ invitation to be part of their ‘Our Sneakers, Your Story’ campaign could NOT have come any sooner. So here is the challenge; to wear nothing but their sneakers for 5 days straight.

It’s day 5! And thankfully Friday… And I am happy to report there was not a single scratch, graze or embarrassing fall all week.  Big Thank you to Platypus Shoes for giving me a reason to do this challenge! And to New Balance for making some pretty sweet shoes!!  And an even bigger thank you to the darling/generous/talented/friendly photographer,  Michelle Tran, for putting up with my week of ‘stunted growth’ insecurities and being there to take my photo everyday.   Now let’s all go out and buy more shoes~!!!!

Couldn’t help but share some behind the scenes shots from a shoot I styled for OK! Magazine, with the lovely boy’s from the TV Show, Offspring.   The Everleigh Bar made for the most enticing back drop for the shoot… unfortunately we were all very professional and didn’t succumb to the temptation of drinking cocktails all afternoon!
